Background:
Hussein is from the small village of Kfarfeela. His father had a small bakery where he can’t run anymore. Now he has a small tobacco shop where Hussein supports him to cover the family’s expenses. His family is of 6 persons including himself and his parents.

Challenges:
Hussein faces the challenge of helping his father and his family to stand up again after their house was bombarded and destroyed partially during the last war. UNDP scholarship can help him overcome this challenge and improve the living conditions of his family.
It takes Hussein more than half an hour to reach his vocational center each morning. 
His family’s financial situation is bad and his family members have high hopes in Hussein to support them.

The Support Received/ Impact of the Scholarship:
This scholarship is Hussein’s only hope to continue his education.
