Background:
Abir is a mother of three children, Rahaf, Ali and Joulia, 6, 4 and 2 years old respectively. Her husband works as an electrician. The financial situation of her family is deteriorating and she wants to continue her education to support her husband and children.

Challenges:
Abir is an ambitious married woman hoping to continue her education and fulfill her dreams getting this scholarship from UNDP. She faced the challenge of continuing her education and improving the living conditions for her family and her children. She is keen and determined to continue her studies and achieve her goals despite the difficulties faced such as covering the high cost of transportation.

The Support Received/ Impact of the Scholarship:
Abir is happy she’s able to continue her education and this scholarship is setting her on the right track to support her family of 5 persons including herself.
